‘Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the best display of this moment’ – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by DisplayMate proclaimed the smartphone with the best display of this moment.

Display Mate, an organization that deals with testing monitors, and assessing the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 named the smartphone with the best display. According to DisplayMate, the screen on all fronts measured best display so far.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and an unprecedented high resolution 1440 x 2560 pixels. This “qHD resolution” makes the screen of the Galaxy Note 4 unprecedentedly sharp. In addition, the screen of the Galaxy Note 4 appears to also score very well on the field of natural color reproduction. In almost all measurements, the Galaxy Note 4 scored the highest rating.

Galaxy Note 4 is compared for example with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, the three Microsoft Surface, the Samsung S Galaxy Tab 10.5, the Amazon Kindle HDX Fire and the Apple iPad 2. The Microsoft Surface Air 3 and the Galaxy Tab 10.5 S get high ratings for their displays.

The positive reviews for the Galaxy Note 4 of DisplayMate show that Samsung has recently put great strides in the development of Super AMOLED displays. Super AMOLED displays are known for their intense color, since time immemorial, however, colors were often what “exaggerated” and less natural. Through the use of software filters are the Super AMOLED displays from Samsung today able to reach a very natural color reproduction, occasionally also emphasized DisplayMate.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is not only in monitor very special. The unit is also considered to be the most comprehensive smart phones of today. The Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with the most comprehensive hardware that is currently available, including for example a 2.7 GHz quad-core processor, 3 gigabytes of memory and 32 gigabytes of storage capacity. The device is further provided with a fingerprint scanner, heart rate sensor and a high-quality 16-megapixel camera. In addition, the device has a new design with a metal frame.

The Samsung galaxy Note 4 is available in the Netherlands since October. More information, all specifications and a comprehensive price comparison is collected on our Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specification page.

HTC M8 to retain 1080p display resolution user agent confirms

The HTC M8 leak marathon continues with an User Agent Profile coming straight from the HTC website. The successor to the popular HTC One didnt get too many of its specs listed there, but at least we got official confirmation of its screen resolution.
The profile confirms 1920 x 1080 pixel screen - the same as on the HTC One. We also learned an interesting detail on the controls of the smartphone - according to the profile the M8 wont have any physical buttons on its body. This means HTC might be shifting to virtual buttons - like on the Nexus line of devices, the LG G2, many Xperia smartphones and others.

Theres nothing else worth mentioning so well do a little recap of what weve heard so far. The HTC M8 could be called HTC One+ or HTC Two, the latter appears unlikely but stranger things have happened.
The chipset is taunted as a MSM8974 - the same Snapdragon 800 found in the LG Nexus 5, LG G2, Nokia Lumia 1520 and others. The screen could be between 4.9" and 5", the camera is said to be another Ultrapixel unit with no word on the exact resolution. No word on whether the device will feature a fingerprint scanner like the HTC One Max, but chances seem high.

iFixit tears down the new iMac with Retina 5K display

The freshly announced Apple iMac with 5K Retina display got the iFixit treatment. Cupertino’s latest desktop computer received the average repairability score of 5.

The internal setup of the new iMac closely resembles that of the previous model, save for some of the new components it features. It shares logic board and Bluetooth controller with its predecessor.
That stunning 5K screen is made by LG. The display board behind it is dominated by chips from Texas Instruments.
In its repairability score breakdown, iFixit praised the new iMac for its user-replaceable RAM, CPU, and modular (easy to remove) components. However, the LCD screen and the glass are fused together, thus making potential repair quite a hassle. Resealing the desktop in its original condition is also said to be a difficult affair.
Check out iFixit’s walkthrough video of the new iMac’s disassembly below.
